1. Do ALL work with integrity.
It is essential to put forth your best in all that you do. Whether an assignment is graded or not, you should do it with fidelity. This work ethic allows you to gauge what you have and have not comprehended, so you are better served in the classroom.
2. Turn in your work on time.
All requested work should be complete and turned in on the assigned due date! In the event that you are unable to turn in your work on time, then you should make sure it is turned in within the time frame for submission.
3. Make studying a DAILY habit.
In order to keep the content fresh and current, make it a habit to review daily. Consistently studying material makes preparation for assessments easier.
4. Ask for opportunities.
If you find yourself struggling with the content, ask questions about what you do not understand, attend tutoring, look for opportunities to gain bonus points.

Honors
1. Sentences- Write 2 sentences with each word.
2. Quiz - Make your own quiz for the vocabulary words. It must include at least 3 sections (i.e. matching, multiple choice, fill-in-the-blank, writing, etc)
3. Concept web - Create a concept web for each word that includes the word, definition, a sentence, synonyms, antonyms, examples, and non-examples.
4. Pictionary Flash Cards - Draw a picture or symbol for each word. Then explain how your picture represents the word.
5. Story- Create a creative, narrative story with all of your vocabulary words.
General
1. Quiz - Make your own quiz for the vocabulary words. It must include at least 3 sections (i.e. matching, multiple choice, fill-in-the-blank, writing, etc)
2. Sentences - Write 1 sentence with each word.
3. Crossword Puzzle - Create a crossword puzzle using an online puzzle maker.
4. Flash Cards - Create flash cards with your vocabulary words. Write the word on one side and the definitions on the other side.
5. Story- Create a creative, narrative story with at least 12 of your vocabulary words.
