SHS Dual Enrollment Deadlines

Fall and Summer Terms: May 1

Students must apply, get accepted, be advised, and registered by May 1.  Colleges will also have their own deadlines to apply, which may be after the SHS deadlines.  However, the SHS deadlines will be firm deadlines for participation in the Dual Enrollment Program.

• GATRACS.org - This website is used to explore transfer credit between Georgia Institutions.

HOW TO APPLY:

Note:  Students may use the ACT, SAT or Accuplacer to meet admission requirements at EGSC.

1. Complete the EGSC Application through gafutures.org.
2. Register for ONE of the following admissions tests:
   1. SAT or ACT   
   2. Accuplacer-contact Noah Kamsler (912-623-2400) at EGSC to schedule a time to take the Accuplacer.
3. Send your official transcript to EGSC. (Instructions can be found here)
4. Complete the online Dual Enrollment application through gafutures.org. (Instructions can be found here)
5. Once the minimum ACT/SAT/Accuplacer score has been met, email Mrs. Harrison at SHS to set up an appointment to to discuss course/schedule options and registration.

HOW TO APPLY:

1. Complete the online GSU Application 
2. Register for ONE of the following admission tests:
   1. SAT or ACT   When you register to test, make sure you select to have your scores sent to GSU.
   2. Accuplacer-contact the GSU Testing Office at (912) 478-5415 to schedule a time to take the test
3. Send official transcript to GSU. (Instructions can be found here)
4. Complete the "Online Dual Enrollment Funding Application" through gafutures.org. (Instructions can be found here)
5. Once you receive your acceptance, email Mrs. Harrison at SHS to set up an appointment to discuss course/schedule options and registration.  

Click here to check your admissions status.  Once you have been accepted, GSU will send you an email about SOAR (Orientation) and registering for classes.

HOW TO APPLY:

1. Complete the online OTC Application.
2. Send official transcript to OTC. (Instructions can be found here)
3. Upon receiving your application and transcript OTC will determine if you meet any of the admissions requirements:
   1. PSAT Score OR
   2. HOPE GPA after the 10th grade OR
   3. ACT, SAT or Accuplacer Score 
4. Complete the "Online Dual Enrollment Funding Application" through gafutures.org. (Instructions can be found here)
5. Once accepted by OTC, email Mrs. Harrison at SHS to set up an appointment to discuss course/schedule options and registration.
