Governor's Honors Program Semi-Finalists

SHS has four students who have been chosen as semi-finalists for the prestigious Governor's Honors Program. Approximately 3400 students are nominated at the state level each year. Among those, 1700 are chosen as semi-finalists. And from those only 660 are chosen as finalists.

Sophomore Eletria Biswas along with juniors Sarah Harvey, Carter Swaby, and Michael Vescio will interview in February for a spot to attend the 6 week summer program on the campus of Berry College.  Previously, current SHS seniors Jaala Alston and Rachel Thomas have represented SHS at Governor's Honors Program

Good luck to our four semi-finalists!
